Tuan’s Deadlift Day: Exercise 4: Farmers Walk, 3 Sets with 50 LBS Each Hand With Towels
Tuan here, all natural bodybuilder/powerlifter with my last exercise for my deadlift day Monday 12/22/2208. The good old Farmer’s Walk. This exercise has helped me elevate the strength of my hands to allow myself to handle more weight on any exercise. As I said before, to increase one’s strength, one must start at the hands. The stronger one’s grip, the more weight one can push, pull and control. So simple yet so effective. Hope you enjoy the vid. As always, what worked for me may not work for you. All I am doing is sharing what has worked well for me and I hope if my help you. PLEASE DO NOT TRY THIS WITHOUT PROPER TRAINING.

gloves would be …
gloves would be just fine. but with a towel, there is so much more give as the towel is some much softer. one must squeeze to the point where all the give in the towel is gone in order to hold the dumb bell. but to be honest, just doing the exercise with your bare hands is good enough. I am just giving an example where one can use lighter weight which would decrease the chance of injury but still be as effective as using heavier weight

Question, though:
Why not gloves, instead of towels?
Is there a strength advantage to either?
