What are the benefits of doing walking lunges?

What aren't the lunges good for! I love these things, they really work! I do these in class and they love them, as a matter of fact when we don't do them, they remind me that we forgot!
Walking lunges are different than the standing lunges, they work the muscles alittle harder because they stretch them further and then put the weight on them. The lunges work the quads, hamstrings, inner thighs, buns, and most of all the heart. They are excellent.
You can also do them with weights after you get the hang of them without the weights.

You get a great butt, but you look like a weirdo doing them down the street.

Is “walking lunge” the best excerise to firm up buns?
Is there a site I can visit that can show the proper way to do a “walking lunge”?
