Exercise Goals - excuses, excuses…

Well, it’s time to get up off my lazy butt and use some of this exercise equipment we have sitting around. I’m tired of making excuses. Really, I always feel so much better when I am in shape. But for some reason, even after months of working out consistently, I usually just stop. Grrr.

So here I go again. I’m starting with 3 times a week, just cardio for now, and I’ll add in some weights after a couple of weeks. I will probably vary it, with walking outside, using the treadmill, the exercise bike, the PS3 Eye Toy games, and Dance Dance Revolution. (Gotta make it fun, you know!).

Oh, and to my friends and family - please don’t have me committed, I’m just trying to be funny…

A superior walking exercise adapted from Taoist exercise practices and the ancient book, the I-Ching. Mobility is enhanced and maintained through 8 arm movements as you turn the waist walking in a circle. Unlike Tai Chi and Yoga this pure Taoist exercise will make an excellent companion video to the Tao Te Ching translation by Dr.Wayne Dyer. Turning the waist and using circular arm movements while walking open the body and increase the flow of chi in the body much like Feng Shui does with our surroundings, a treadmill can’t compete.
